Green Goat Storage Facility SW6
For this project, Advantage Technical Services Ltd was tasked with the design, supply,
and commissioning of a C-TEC Disabled Refuge System, utilizing the SigTEL 4-224 line emergency voice communication system and four ‘Type B’ outstations. This system ensures that people with limited mobility have a safe, reliable means of communication in the event of an emergency.
Our Role:
• System Design: We carefully designed the system layout, ensuring that the outstations were positioned in compliance with UK regulations (BS 5839-9:2011) for emergency voice communication systems. This design ensured that all designated refuge areas were easily accessible and properly equipped.
• Supply: As part of our service, we supplied the C-TEC SigTEL 4-224 system and all necessary components, including the four Type B outstations. All equipment was sourced from trusted manufacturers to guarantee reliability and durability.
• Commissioning: Following installation our experienced engineers conducted thorough testing and commissioning to ensure the system was fully functional and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Full certification and operational handover were provided to the client upon completion.
C-TEC SigTEL 4-224
• SigTEL 4-224 Line Emergency Voice Communication System: The SigTEL system is a versatile, high-performance emergency voice communication system designed to manage disabled refuge points within multi-story buildings or large premises. It supports up to 224 lines, providing scalability for future expansion if needed.

Type ‘B’ Outstations
• ‘Type B’ Outstations: The system includes four ‘Type B’ outstations, strategically placed to serve refuge points throughout the building. These outstations are simple to use and feature hands-free two-way communication, ensuring that individuals requiring assistance can easily communicate with building management or emergency services during an evacuation.
